PercevalTM is a pericardial surgical heart valve with a sutureless and collapsible design that simplifies the surgical implantation1,2
Reducing operative trauma and post-operative complications1,2
Enabling faster Patient recovery1,2
CC-MK-00019 A

The atraumatic collapsing does not impair leaflet functionality5, preventing possible damage to the tissue. When collapsed, the valve allows the Surgeon better visibility of the annulus and the anatomical structures during implantation and deployment for greater confidence and faster and precise positioning at the implantation site.2
MICS = minimal invasive cardiac surgery

Perceval’s exclusive stent design allows even circumferential expansion to accommodate future transcatheter valves, making Perceval a unique foundation for Valve-in-Valve procedures.*
Perceval valves have a large internal diameter, providing more choice for future transcatheter valve selection.
The Perceval stent shape and visibility allow for identification of clear landmarks which may help avoid coronary ostia obstruction.
The nitinol stent provides clear visibility under fluoroscopy.
The inflow ring can be evenly and circumferentially expanded to accommodate transcatheter aortic valve placement.

No current publication of ViV with Perceval reports coronary ostia obstruction.6,7
*The decision to make a transcatheter aortic valve implantation in Perceval compared to other options should be done by the Heart team based on individual assessment of the Patient’s conditions. The safety and efficacy of Valve-in-Valve procedures in a Perceval valve have not been established. Valve-in-Valve procedures in a Perceval valve should be performed according to indications provided by the transcatheter valve manufacturer.
